These candidates would now be able to apply for a provincial nomination under the prince Edward Island’s immigration nominee program (PNP). Successful candidates bagging a nomination would automatically get additional 600 CRS points. This point makes it easier to get apply and clinch a Canada Permanent resident.
For applicants to be considered for a selection, they must present or submit an Expression of Interest to the PEI PNP. Candidates for the labour impact category are also expected to register to PEI PNP to be considered for a nomination.
PEI’s Express Entry Category is connected to the government Express Entry framework. This framework deals with the pool of possibilities for three of Canada’s primary monetary migration classifications — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.
The details of the distribution of this number between the classes as well as the EOI base score are yet to be disclosed by the province.
