Saskatchewan opened the most recent EOI based draw of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) on 26 August 2020 to give 570 ITAs for provincial nomination. This draw was characterized by a single drop in point.
This latest draw however targeted only applicants in Occupations In-Demand subcategory of SINP-International Skilled Worker (ISW) Stream. This draw of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has opened following a one month gap as the last draw happened on July 29.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) welcomed up-and-comers from the International Skilled Worker class through subcategory Occupations In-Demand.
The SINP utilizes the EOI framework to choose the applicants that have the most potential to flourish in the grassland territory.
Applicants need to exhibit their responsibility to building an actual existence in Saskatchewan by displaying their work understanding, instruction, language capacity, age, and associations with the region.
OCCUPATIONS IN-DEMAND SUB-CATEGORY
Invited Candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. Among those who selected the occupations listed below, the following candidates were invited to apply:
- Those with 69 points or higher;
- Candidates with 68 points and connections to Saskatchewan; and
- Candidates with 68 points and had 10 years of work experience and a language level of CLB 8 or higher.

In the most recent draw that occurred 26 of August, the Express Entry Sub-Category was completely left out.
Overall, these invitations trend keeps getting more exciting with each draw. Could the sidelining of Express Entry sub category another trend as a result of the COVID? We wait to see what the next SINP draw comes up with.
